I have known Councilor Turner since I was an undergraduate student at UMass Boston (2001).  Chuck Turner was the most amazing politician I had ever met,  in my entire life, (a title which he still holds to this day).  He spoke out for the poor, he was constantly involved in community activities and he would come to any community forum which he was invited to.  He seemed to never stop working for his constituents, for his state, for his country and for his world.

What also struck me about Councilor Turner was his transparency.  Whatever was going on in local government, he made people aware.  Whether it was through his weekly email to his constituents and supporters or through his numerous appearances at community forums and town hall meetings, Councilor Turner made sure that no one was ever left out in the dark when it came to local government.

I cannot say enough great things about Councilor Turner so I will end with this.  When I hear the name Chuck Turner three things come to mind; 1. a selfless commitment to justice, 2. a deep sense of moral integrity and 3. honesty.
